- Eligibility -Short films of all genres and types can be submitted, even if they premiered elsewhere, provided they meet these criteria:
✓Duration under 30 minutes
✓Films must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe on the copyright or any other rights of any third party.
✓Free to View: We do not charge audiences a subscription or entry fee. By submitting your film, you agree to have it available for free for all audiences on our website and platforms. -
Prize – Winners will be awarded a $1,000 USD prize, announced at the end of every festival.

Deadline – None. Submit anytime. Current submissions are eligible for the September, 2024 festival.

We encourage filmmakers to be innovative and imaginative in their work, submitting films that highlight their distinct style and perspective. While the films must meet technical requirements and be appropriate for a general audience, Filmfest is eager to showcase various types of short films and celebrate the creativity of filmmakers from all backgrounds.
The winner of Filmfest is chosen based on a combination of audience votes and the evaluations of a panel of judges, who assess films on criteria like originality, creativity, and technical execution. The film with the highest overall rating from both judges and audience votes is awarded the grand prize.
