Every three months, our judges will choose a winner who will receive a $1,000 cash prize!

To win at Filmfest, your short film needs to captivate both our judges and the festival audience. We evaluate submissions on a rich tapestry of criteria: originality, creativity, technical prowess, acting, screenplay, production design, sound design, editing, and the overall emotional or intellectual resonance. Beyond the critical assessment, audience votes play a crucial role, adding a another layer to the competition. The film that receives the highest combined score from our judges’ evaluations and audience votes will be awarded the grand prize of $1,000 every quarter.
